Just yesterday I decided to re-explore my Playlist on YouTube for a great tune to listen to while baking Wildberry Jam Pastries with my grandmother One of my Playlist songs however caught my attention and immediately led me to reminisce about one of the most life-changing moments in my life I decided to play the 9 Crimes which brought me into tears as Damien Rice sung melancholily Leave me out with the waste This is not what I do Its the wrong kind of place To be thinking of you With such poignant lyrics and melody I began to reflect on a great regret that I still carry inside even today Dont be afraid to take risks in life and help others The melody of the song still haunts me every time I listen to it Every time I listen to it I can clearly see that timid and innocent boy smiling back at meOn May 4th 2011 everyone at Sinclair Secondary School celebrated Star Wars Day by wearing Darth Vader and Jedi costumes Everyone jokingly greeted each other by saying May the Force be with you During the day the atmosphere was filled with energetic and positive energy Then during my last period class in French my teacher taught us about Future Simple however I tuned out for a couple of minutes and noticed something pecking against the window which evoked my intuition instantly A gigantic black crow pecked uncontrollably as if an urgent message needed to be given to me Strangely my intuition had overridden my logical reasoning and I thought of misfortune and ill luck Before I knew it class has been dismissed and I walked back while a torrential rainstorm came pouring down As I got home and changed into dry clothes Ive logged onto Facebook which I always do right when I arrive home While scrolling down the News Feed page the page was bombarded with hundreds
