"You provide a great analysis of a very hot topic these days. Your introduction paragraph has good background information that lets readers know what exactly you'll be focusing on. I did notice some inconsistencies with your in-text citations, including punctuation and proper format. Purdue OWL is a great resource to help with that. Your paragraph about the Chinese interrogation methods is definitely an interesting comparison to your topic of social media's influence, but that information could use a citation as well. Additionally, including a transition sentence between that topic and your sentence about likes and retweets feeling like a big reward to people will provide a better link between Chinese interrogations and social media. As it is right now, the jump between the two topics is a little confusing to read without a clearer statement of their connection. There are many instances throughout your essay of improper word usage or extra words added, which really impact readability in some spots.
