There is never enough time to do all the things in life that you want to do People see everything even if they dont recall it It is only when you get ready to leave this world that we really see it Sometimes things happen so that the passing is gentle and easy People do not want to die a sudden death and hope to feel the world before they leave it Sometimes people are just holding on for the ones they loveThe irony of Mrs Mallard death was that she had been holding on to life for her husband Chopin describes Mrs Mallard as afflicted and when she is told of her husband death she saw life in a whole different way She started to see everything that was important to her but she also felt that tug of the afflicted heart problem she was suffering from Mrs Mallard automatically starts to proceed to her new journey She knows it is alright to not fight but even then she still wants to It is ironic how she sees things now and how she just accepts the fact that she is dying The whole world is coming to an end but she knows it will be so much betterWhen Chopin puts the husband back into the story it is all the irony that it needs because he was all that she was living for It is often easier to let go of life when you have nothing keeping you here Chopin told the story from the start that she was afflicted Death was easier for Mrs Mallard because of finding out her husband was deadChopin does a very good job in characterizing Mrs Mallard because even though you didnt see that her husband was going to walk in the door You still knew that she was already on her death bed The story climaxes here because of the irony of her dying because of her
