These days the way parents raise their children what is considering acceptable is a much debated topic Some think tough love is the best way to go Punishing them over the smallest things and not letting things slide On the other hand some people believe a tender loving way is how children should be raised Letting kids do as they please and not punishing them over ever little thing However the situation remains the same how should children be raised Should parents discipline their children or should they not It is my belief that children should be raised in a positive loving environment and punished in a fair manor This is because positive attitudes at home can improve a childs ways children who arent punished for their mistakes may become unruly and children who are punished to severally may become with drawn A positive attitude is best for raising children as I will explainAs a teenager I know how incredibly frustrating it can be to have your mom or your dad constantly on your back about your every flaw Whether it be you forgot to do your chores youre not doing so good in class or your simply having a bad day When your parents are screaming at you and not giving you a chance to explain yourself it makes you feel like dirt The child is going to end up yelling back and things will only go down hill from there On the other hand when a parent can sit down with their son or daughter and have a talk without the yelling and the negativity things would go a lot better They could get to the real issue and with some positive reinforcement from the parents things could get worked out Personally if my mom would step back and stop with the negativity I would be a lot more willing to quickly finished any forgotten chores get to work on
