Angela's feedback:
"You provide some well-founded reasons for the use of polite speech, and you make great use of academic vocabulary. Your essay would be stronger, however, with some reorganization of your paragraphs. For example, your first two paragraphs could be joined to create a more detailed introduction since both paragraphs focus on your comparison of using polite speech to greasing wheel bearings. Combining other paragraphs in your work would improve the flow of your writing and keep it from being choppy. It's notable that you were able to pull an example from literature to support your argument, but remember that page number information should be included in the citation for any direct quote. Also, standard practice in academic writing is to indent the first line of a paragraph by half an inch, not to skip lines in between paragraphs."
