Young teens do not start of using drugs supposing to develop a substance abuse problem Most teens use drugs as a casual way of having fun however there are negative effects to using and abusing drugs Teens might tell themselves they will only try a drug once but many teens find themselves under peer pressure to continue to use drugs If teens become addicted they lose friends develop health problems and start to fail in school experience memory loss and lose motivation Teens also will have negative behaviors and often unpredictable emotional swings I want to reach out to our teens that they can show some initiative and understand they dont need drugs Symptoms of drug abuse include tolerance to a substance withdrawal episodes changes in school performance and unpredictable mood swings You also see problems with managing life issues due to the use of drugs Using more drugs for longer periods of time effect your life instantly They need to understand what can happen to theyre life if they head down this pathThe article on teen drug abuse Well some research shows that teens do drugs because they need to fit in with the crowd Another reason is because they get bored to death and have nothing better to do therefore they consider that will make things better Or they consider that their lives are going awful and that drugs will make their lives a lot better They remain caught under the influence of peer pressure Their parents may well put too much pressure on their kids by either having too much expectation for them academically and if they dont meet these expectations they argue about it Certain teenagers can take the pressure but the teenagers that cannot transaction with it stray into taking drugs They can think that drugs are actual rebel actions Youngsters often experiment with a variety of activities and substances Unfortunately this experimentation can lead to substance abuse and addiction
