"You provide a well-balanced discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of keeping animals in zoos, and it’s good that you conclude the essay by taking a stance on the matter. Your paper would flow better though if your body paragraphs discussed your supporting points in the same order that you introduced them in your thesis statement. In addition, run-on sentences such as the one that begins “The zoo is” and sentence fragments such as the one that begins “As zoo providing” should be recast for clarity. The latter sentence also includes a good example of a pronoun-antecedent problem. It is not obvious what you’re referring to when you say “them” in the sentence. There’s a word choice issue with the use of “distinction,” and when a parenthetical citation appears at the end of a statement, the period should go after the citation itself. Standard practice in academic writing is to italicize a word that is being used as a word (e.g., zoochosis); writing words in all caps is discouraged."
