Angela's feedback:
"You have a solid thesis statement, and you do a good job of using your thesis to dictate the layout of the rest of your essay. Moreover, you chose some good quotes from the documents provided to support your analysis. Your essay would be more polished, though, if you followed a consistent format for the word “document” (either capital or lowercase “d”) when referencing various documents in the work. Meanwhile, a proper noun such as “England” should always be capitalized. Typos such as the use of “on” instead of “one” and “the” instead of “they” need to be fixed, and the essay would benefit from a review to recast awkward and repetitive phrases such as “creation of the steam engine was created.” Sentences with parallel structure problems should also be recast for clarity. Standard practice in academic writing is to reserve the phrase “in conclusion” for your concluding paragraph."
