Abortion Law What does the Bible Say Induced abortion has created quite an ethical and moral discussion for quite some time People disagree on two basic questions whether the woman has the right to an abortion or whether the law has the right to protect the life of the child These two groups describe their positions as either pro-life or pro-choice Pro-life groups try to protect the life of the child and wish that abortion be forbidden and pro-choice people believe that the mother should have the right to protect the welfare of her own body I think that abortion is wrong I can understand the arguments of both sides but the simple truth is that the fetus the embryo the babythey are life Psalm 13919 says For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mothers womb14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful I know that full well This verse explains to us that each person is wonderfully made and that God put us together in our mothers womb Why we should we want to hurt or destroy what God creates and something as beautiful and wonderfully made as LIFE Job 1621 says A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world The previous verse shows the value of life and the happiness it can bring Human being should not just treat unexpected babies as evidence of their one night of fun but of a blessing of life and be thankful that their parents didnt abort them with mifepristone drug or with the drug prostaglandins If a mother is considering an abortion they should think in their mind Where would I be today if my mother had an abortion Sounds funny if you think
