Bridget's feedback:
"This is off to a good start, with specific details focused around an exploration of the profession; your interest and goals come through clearly. It looks like you have a little more work in terms of drafting the "Lastly" (third body) paragraph, as well as a final concluding paragraph to tie things up. My comments will focus, then, on what you currently have on the page.
Reading the existing paragraphs, there is a sense that more efficient organization within paragraphs could help streamline and focus the discussion. For example, the final two sentences on page 2 provide much more general information that might function better elsewhere (perhaps the introduction). I do notice a number of mechanical errors, including grammar issues and typos. A thorough proofread to catch these will ensure clarity, ethos, and your reader's attention. Reading aloud may be helpful--for example, the first sentence is a bit bumpy, either due to missing words or mismatched clauses. "Hearing" it aloud may help in deciding how you want to address the issue. And make sure to properly cite your data, especially ranges of figures and averages."
