"In this essay, you do a good job of summarizing the stories of Brutus and Cassius and explaining their motives. To take this from a "B" to an "A," you should clarify your primary thesis and make sure that the rest of the paper, including the conclusion, supports that thesis. In your introductory paragraph, you say that Brutus and Cassius are both considered honorable men and that faults could diminish their position, although honor is in the eye of the beholder. The paragraph about Brutus emphasizes this and shows that he remained honorable until his end, but the paragraph about Cassius doesn't really explain how he's shown himself to be an honorable man--it only focuses on the aspects of his life (and death) where he showed dishonorable behavior. Within the body of the paper and within your conclusion, it would be helpful to revisit your initial statements. How do the stories of Brutus and Cassius demonstrate that honor is in the eye of the beholder? What faults does Brutus have that could diminish his position? And what has Cassius done to be seen as honorable by the public? In addition to adding more context around your main statement, be sure to proofread your paper. While you did a good job including quotations, some of the phrasing and punctuation around the quotations should be adjusted."
