To really bring this to the next level, I would advise a revision that focuses on streamlining on a few levels. First and foremost, the introduction is quite long. The points you make within are logical, but I wonder if all those arguments need to be telegraphed so soon in the paper. I suggest incorporating the detailed points into the body paragraphs instead so the reader is not overwhelmed by the introduction, where the task is mostly to place the reader in the text and establish the thesis. I would also suggest streamlining on the sentence-to-sentence level, as well as within (syntax). You make each point very clear, which is great, but keep an eye on redundancy, and take a careful look at what your reader needs made explicit, and what is already implied. For example, after some of the quotations, the immediate next sentence often reiterates information made clear in the quotation. This task involves determining your audience; for academic papers--unless the prompt suggests otherwise--it is usually safe to assume general familiarity with the text, giving the reader gentle reminders of the text's content as needed. Summarize plot beats for emphasize or similar rhetorical purposes. By streamlining the argumentation and prose, your ideas can come forth even more assertively, creating a direct, confidence ethos."
