The breakthrough of medicine nutrition and technology has brought forth much prosperity to the welfare of life The life expectancy rate has risen Nutrition is known to be at its best and technology has taken mankind to the moon However prosperity is not the only thing that these three has brought It brought about the nightmare of considering euthanasia into our lives The greatest nightmare is that the profession that is supposed to preserve the life of mankind may have the power to end it After seeing news of vicious and brutal acts involving individuals such as Dr Jack Kevorkian it has come to my attention that everyone in this professional field cannot be trustworthy and sane As in the past where they were known only to be healers the twentieth century brings a different side to these intellectuals Society has given great expectations to these doctors including a well-rounded education As this has happened the concept of the doctor-patient care seems to have decreased greatly This issue has caused great interest and concern However this is not the main concern The actual concern is to question what would happen if euthanasia were to be allowed as part of our lives This is why I feel that euthanasia should not be legalized The main argument against euthanasia is whether it is actual murder or not Supporters of euthanasia claim that it is not actual murder for if the patient requests his own death everything should be at the responsibility of the patient The doctor is simply just a figure that is at the side of the patient Those against euthanasia view this in a different way If a criminal had a plot to rob a bank along with a driver who is the actual accomplice The obvious answer is the bank robber himself but shouldnt the driver also be convicted since he helped the bank robber This seems exactly the same
