"Your essay’s overall structure and your analysis are great. You do a superb job of discussing the dangers of dehumanizing groups of people using the Holocaust as a prime example. However, the title of a book should be italicized, and though you use “mad respect” correctly, using the term “mad” in this way is too informal for academic writing. Double quotation marks should be used consistently instead of a mix of single and double quotation marks. While not all quotes need to be introduced with a comma, it is standard practice to use a comma when leading into a quote with words such as “said” or “stated.” In other cases, a colon could be appropriate. The term “Nazis strategy” needs revision: for example, either “Nazi strategy” or “Nazis’ strategy” would work. There are other places in the essay where the possessive form of a word is needed (e.g., “Jews’ need”). Your works cited section should also be revised. The heading is typically kept in the same font size as the main body text, and the section itself is meant to feature information on works you’ve pulled quotes from. This means that you’d have one citation for Night and that the quotes themselves don’t need to be included."
