Imagine your mom dad or any other relative being incarcerated andsentenced to the death penalty for a crime they did not even commit Thisis a terrifying thought but over 130 people have been let off the deathpenalty because of false evidence since 1973 This is just crazy The deathpenalty is wrong in many degrees It violates most religions includingChristianity costs nearly triple the amount of money than to hold someonein jail for life and holds a big risk of executing the innocent Exodus 2013 says Thou shall not kill Murder definitely goesagainst this commandment the 6th command of the 10 Commandments said byGod Ones life should never be taken just because they have done wrongWhy not just have the murderer sentenced for life imprisonment and givethem a chance to repent their sins if they havent done so already Theanswer is revenge Many people get too caught up in the thought of revengeand just want the person set to the ultimate punishment- the death penalty In the state of Tennessee the death penalty cast nearly 48 morethan to set someone to life imprisonment Another example of the deathpenalty being more expensive is in the state of Maryland where a singlecase can be up to 3 million dollars California could also save around 1billion over five years if they have abolished the death penalty The stateof California has sentenced over 3000 men and women to the death penaltyThe reason why the costs are so high is because of the need of moreinvestigations more trials and many appeals that murderer might have Ifthere are more capitol punishments then are taxes will rise Do you wantyour taxes to skyrocket How would you like to be accused of being an accomplice of a murderand sentenced to the death penalty but you really didnt do it Well Iknow that Anthony
