Bridget's feedback:
"I really appreciate the clarity of purpose and argumentation in this essay; by providing a roadmap for the reader of the paper's goals and approach, your audience can focus on the ideas with an understanding of how it all fits together as they go.
I suggest the main task for the next draft is in integrating sources. In the case of the introduction, signal phrases or citations will establish ethos and help the reader comprehend your work with the literature. In the body discussion, incorporating research will help move some of the broad claims away from unsubstantiated hypotheticals or generalizations. Finding sources that describe those behaviors, etc., will solidify the readers' understanding of these issues as urgent and real, and the solutions as actionable and viable."

Essays may be lightly modified for readability or to protect the anonymity of contributors, but we do not edit essay examples prior to publication. (And nope, we don't source our examples from our editing service! Check out our Privacy and Content Sharing policies for more information.)
