A question that has been raised throughout history is what is a persons relationship with God The answer to this is that each persons relationship with God is unique A majority of people look to God for answers People are in search of understanding life and the happenings that surround them When things go wrong people turn to God for hope and understanding There are many different religions throughout this world These different religions reflect many different beliefs of a persons relationship with God There are many substantial and vital similarities between the people of Judaisms relationship with God and the people of Christianitys relationship with God Of course there are a few differences between these two religions as well These differences are what make two separate religions Christianity emerged from the religion of Judaism through the figure of Jesus Christ Jesus was originally a Hebrew but became the founder of the new religion known as Christianity Emerging from Judaism Christianity and Judaism therefore have many similarities The major similarity between the people of Judaisms relationship with God and the people of Christianitys relationship with God is that both are strongly believe in Monotheism Monotheism is the belief or doctrine in one eternal god The Hebrews still believe that God is their special protector and he means everything to him The truly believe that God is the most powerful figure and is always present throughout life Christians accept the belief that God created everything It is written in the bible that God is all-knowing The Christians believe that God is omniscient and that he knows all possible outcomes of all possible creations of all possible universes Christians feel that God is responsible for the creation of our universe and has chosen what its destiny will be This also means that He has also chosen the paths of our individual lives Due to the fact that both Judaism and Christianity are Monotheistic both of the religions
