"Writing and research skills are indeed incredibly important in both the academic and professional world! It looks like you are off to a good start when it comes to these skills because overall this was a good essay. You stayed focused on your topic, explained why and how good research and writing skills are necessary, and had clear and consistent formatting. There were some inconsistencies when it came to paragraph length though, so you should typically aim to have about two paragraphs per page.

The biggest area where your essay suffered, however, was when it came to conventional errors. There were several grammar and word choice mistakes that impacted the clarity of your writing at times. Be sure to proofread very carefully! A great method is to read your own writing out loud, as it is easy to miss those kinds of mistakes when reading in your head since our brains tend to skip over every other word. Be sure to remove that random excerpt at the bottom as well, unless it is related to the assignment. All in all, you are off to a great start and just need some further edits!"
