"This is an interesting question. To write more concisely will help you to make your point. Take care to avoid comma splices, i.e., using a comma to separate what would be two sentences. You tend to repeat words (“The point … is only to point out”); mix up your word choices to maintain interest. You should include spaces before and after an ellipsis as appropriate. Avoid writing in all capital letters. Book titles should be italicized. You misplace periods in sentences when quoting material, and you sometimes include a period in citations. Punctuation should be placed inside quotation marks in American English."
