Cheating What exactly is cheating In the dictionary cheating means to deprive of something valuable by the use of fraud In other words cheating is when you use wrongfully obtained information for your certain situation Everywhere you go you see some form of cheating Whether it be at school at work or even at home What I want to know is why do students feel that they need to cheat During their high school years a lot of teens are put under pressure to earn good grades and graduate on time Sometimes teens get so caught up in this pressure and start to think that the only way out is cheating For example in the Truths or Consequences article a high school student by the name of Hilary Caltagirone expresses her feelings about cheating You have to do whatever you have to do to get ahead IM going to college IM going to get a good job If that means I have to copy a couple answers or go on the Internet and get some old essays then thats what IM going to doRelin p10 This is a common way that a lot of people think They think that cheating is the only way to get out of difficult situations When in reality all they have to do is study the situation and apply themselves Nowadays with the growth in technology cheating is becoming easier day by day Teens are using technology as a way of gaining access to sites that promote andor assist them with cheating Some teens even admit to cheating and being caught For example in the article an anonymous student admits to cheating and explains how it felt afterwards when she had been caught I didnt feel like doing an English assignmentthe student explained so I found this story online and printed it out My teacher said she really liked it and entered it for the award I figured it wouldnt
