Bridget's feedback:
"This essay looks to be on the cusp of prewriting and drafting, which presents a good opportunity to hit pause and think about purpose and how this is communicated to the reader. You have your main points on the page, so I suggest focusing on crafting an introduction and conclusion to bookend these current various conversations. Once you've done this, focus on organizing what is now the body of the essay for flow and reader experience.
Later, you can attend to lower-order concerns, including proofreading for errors, refining tone and diction (this current draft shows some instances of possibly too conversational phrasing), and tidying up your citations according to your style guide -- as regards the use of sources, it's great to see their presence in this early draft: this means the heavy-lifting tasks of presenting your research, often neglected by writers until the last minute, is already started."
