It took me sometime to prepare this speech because I really wanted to speak from my heart At first I felt that if I amused you I would be satisfied that it was a good speech But then something happened and I felt the realness of it What Im going to talk to you about is something that is inevitable Something that everyone has or will deal with The loss of a loved one How do you deal with it Who can help you And when youll get over it We wont make it an issue of how someone we know died because death has no classifications but what I want to get across is that it takes more than you to not get over it but to get through it What happens first is we lose someone very close to us by day or night and almost immediately afterwards we begin to shut out the people that live among us Some of the reasons for doing this are because we feel someone is rushing us to get over it by thinking of activities to get our minds off of it And knowing we are fueled by the constant remember the times who ever you are around just doesnt seem to talk about our lost loved one enough Or you are simply just in denial about the whole situation because there was something about them dying that was just too unreal Naturally we become distant from those people Wrong answer Try not to get enraged because you feel someone cant empathize with you because they dont know how you feel Most likely they have no clue because they might not have been through a similar situation Simply try to help them to SEE how you feel Explain the VOID that you have now that this person has passed Warning You also need to help them to understand that that void is
