Jenn's feedback:
"You are off to a good start with this essay. You have identified what you will be writing about in the essay and then have organized your paragraphs in a logical manner accordingly. Based on your introduction and conclusion, it is not clear what the overall intent of the essay is meant to be. It is unclear if you are supposed to be presenting information or defending an opinion. If this is not meant to be an opinion piece it is important to remove phrases such as "...the concepts are indeed portrayed..." and "...and behaviors are indeed accurate." Throughout the essay, you consistently use terms interchangeably when it is not necessarily appropriate. One of the most obvious examples is "feminine" and "feminist." There are a number of places that the grammar and sentence structure are problematic to the point that the message you are trying to convey is not clear. These types of issues can be resolved through a round of proofreading. One of the most critical issues with your paper is the lack of citations, especially since you have references at the end. It is important that you properly cite all information obtained from other sources to avoid the issue of plagiarism. Last, your references are inconsistently formatted. They appear to be in both APA and MLA style. Make sure that the font of your references is the same as the rest of the paper and that they are consistently formatted using whatever style was assigned."
