Bridget's feedback:
"With all your ideas down, and your evidence mined from the text, you are in a good place in the writing process where the heavy lifting turns more toward revision, thinking about organization, and working with what you have on the page. Some elements to consider as you move forward: first, one long paragraph makes a lot of demands on the reader's ability to focus. Use the prompt and any page limits from your instructor to think about what structure will work best: this is a shorter essay, so a five-paragraph essay may not fit. Consider two longer paragraphs that incorporate introductory and concluding sentences.
As you keep working, make sure your analysis following each quotation doesn't just repeat information -- I see some that can be streamlined via revision (for example, consider this revision: "...such as, 'She wants a place of her own...' (104), which establishes the mother's desire for independence"), while others will need to push a little further to achieve a deeper read. Watch out for outright repetition as well ("The kids feel confused...", followed one sentence later with "It shows the confusion of the kids...")."
