It is a blessing when a new baby arrives in a family all the expectations about their future starts building up Suddenly many families face the fact that what is considered normal in child development is not happening with their child These families have many questions that need to be answered like why is my child so quiet and why do they not answer at my voice and stimulations Autism Spectrum Disorder is a group of developmental brain disorders that affect the skills to communicate and connect verbal and non-verbally with others Actually Autism is a common disorder that affects more boys than girls The word Spectrum refers at the group of symptoms that each child can present These symptoms are the ones that define the three types of most common ASD Autism Spectrum DisordersTo begin with the most common is Autism or Autistic Disorder This one is a group of developmental disorders in which a child repeats behaviors The main problem is communicating in other words connecting with others neither verbally nor visually It is usually diagnosed around age 2 or 3 Other symptoms include behaviors like repetitive movements such as clapping hands shaking their hands and rocking their bodies Also an autistic child is obsessive on specific tasks and routines like watching the same movie over and over They are more sensitive to the touch oblivious to pain and headbanging Autistic child also have problems in language skills They do not speak Autistic child do not look like they understand a conversation or directions The most common symptom is that they prefer to be alone seamly like they are in their own worldSecond the mildest compare to other ASD is Aspergers syndrome because the symptoms in these children are mellower they do not have problems with language and are remarkably intelligent The common symptom is that children with Aspergers syndrome have trouble socializing They also prefer to be alone and rather
