Have you ever been in so much pain that you wanted to quit somethingyou loved I can honestly say that I have but instead off quitting Ikept going Its easier to quit and give up but when its something youenjoy go the extra steps to conquer the pain Sometimes it seems likequitting will be easier than being in pain but pain only makes youstronger When all you want to do is quit remember how much you lovewhat youre about to give up Never give up on something you loveIn the third grade I made the decision to become a cheerleader At thetime my best friends werent cheerleaders but after I began cheeringthe cheerleaders were my best friends At first I was sad that none ofmy friends were cheerleaders but then I became happy because I made newfriends that were cheerleaders Ive continued cheering since then and Ilove every second of it My seventh and eight grade years I was thecaptain of my grades cheer squad I was very happy that I was captainI felt powerful but at times it was overwhelming and I was under a lotof stress I love the cheerleading competitions while on the mat andyoure competing all you can see is a large crowd and all their eyesare on you Youre focused on not messing up and not stepping off themat because once youre off the mat the judges are done watching youand stepping off the loses points for your team In sixth grade I sawthe tumbling part of cheerleading We were at the Edgewood CheerClassic when I witnessed an older cheerleader doing a standingback-tuck and a layout I instantly thought I want to do that Thetumbling she did was amazing it looked like it took a lot of hard workand a lot of practice While watching this girl I was nervous for herit looked scary After I told my mom that I wanted to start tumbling shecalled Dawna Hellyer therefore I
