since I was a child I always wondered how the world was created I can remember my mother taking me to church where I learned about God and how in six days the world was made But it always seemed like the story being told to me was incomplete or maybe I just wasnt willing to accept this story As I grew and started to attend school I discovered there were other explanations on how all that I know exists These alternate explanations intrigued me and I studied them enough to realize there is no real proof of how our existence came about There is no way to prove if there was an Adam or an Eve an apple or a snake or if all this took six days or a trillion years There are two main groups of people who try to explain the creation of the earth Creationists and Evolutionists The first of these groups Creationists believe in a divine creator God Creationists base their explanation solely on Gods miraculous works According to this view a spiritual being is in responsible for willing everything into existence and this is how human beings came to inhabit the earth The theory of Creationism has been supported only through various religious writings particularly the Bible And although the Bible is definitely a important piece of literature whether figuratively or literally believing that the age of the earth is only a mere 10000 years old doesnt support the validity of the Creationists theory The second explanation of our heavenly creation comes from the Evolutionist perspective This perspective embodies that all living things developed from unicellular organisms Evolutionist also believe all organisms can be traced back to a common ancestor from inanimate matter Basis of this is that changes occur in all living organisms in order to help increase their adaptability or potential for survival and reproduction in the face of changing environments
