Your description of Six Sigma does not give the reader a clear picture of what exactly the system is. Consider providing some specific examples of how it works to make sure your reader has the context necessary to understand it.
You mention that the program was introduced in 1986, yet you then mention several time periods before that and discuss Six Sigma as if it existed in its current form then. Was it called Six Sigma before 1986? Or are you simply discussing the ideas and theories that would lead to what is now known as Six Sima? Make sure to clarify.
There are a number of grammatical errors, especially regarding verb tense, that should be addressed by a thorough round of proofreading."
