A perfect hero someone considered as a defender for the weak ones How is a perfect hero described and how can an individual become a perfect hero How does a perfect hero look like how can it be described Beowulf from the epic poem Beowulf exemplifies the traits of a perfect hero But what happens to this hero Beowulf when he becomes oldBeowulf is seen as greater and stronger than anyone anywhere in the world and as someone brave who defends his people Beowulf a prince member of the Geat tribes follower of Higylac and son of Edgetheo is a perfect hero When Beowulf arrives to the Dane tribes as the noble man he is is welcome and seen as a generous man because he offered himself to battle a monster that has been killing people He arrives to the Danes in his armor mail-shirt helmet battle-shild and with his spears He is strong he does not need weapons to defeat his enemies People from everywhere see him as a strong warrior and courageous When he speaks everyone pay attention to him and he is highly respectable by everyone He has manners and values such as loyalty courtesy and pride He is someone who is willing to give his life for his ideals even though he finds danger amusing to him and he would never reject a challenge even if it ends his life He has a great reputation since he has only lost one battle against Brecca and he explains his failure with excuses because he cannot let his pride goes down because of a simple defeat he defends his pride against Unferth When he discusses with Unferth he leaves pretty clear that he gets easily mad and he wont accept people blemishing his pride at all He is honest and sincere and it is shown when he counterattacks Unferth whit Neither Brecca nor you can match me and you murdered your
