When I grow up I want to be famous I would tell my mother Honestly what little kid does not wish for stardom I know when I was young I wanted to be a singer and dancer I could not sing if my life depended on it nor was I especially flexible in any way however that is beside the point I thought if my role model Britney Spears could do it so could I To be honest I just wanted random people from all over the world to know my name But why is that Sure you get special recognition everywhere you go and own a lot of fancy clothes a million-dollar house and expensive jewelry But is the money really worth the cost of losing yourself Yet it seems to me that nobody wishes to be normal You never hear a child say Oh I just cannot wait to grow up and have an ordinary life working at an ordinary job No one really wants to work five days a week eight hours a day especially for normal pay Just think about do you ever hear an average person really ecstatic about his or her ordinary life He or she goes to school or work every morning for most of the day except weekends of course maybe does more work for the following day or wastes time doing hobbies and possibly goes out that night The normal life is just so boring while being famous gives you all the perks that an average person does not have Fame gives you all the chances to do whatever your heart desires whatever that may be Forget actually working or going to school and think red carpet and vacationing on tropical islands The money the fame and the fortune sounds like a pretty good life to most of us However fame is not always how it seems and the price of fame might be costly
