Community Identity and Stability are three words that mean so much to the World State society created by Aldous Huxley but in reality they stand for chaos If the people of the society live by the motto the society will not last When every aspect of ones life is controlled by a higher power it is hard to have community stability and identity Using the words community identity and stability as our way of life can only lead to trouble In Brave New World the people of the World State live by the word community but they control the people so much that they cannot think for themselves and they are forced to live in the community Ending is better than mending The more stitches the less riches 49 This quote shows how the people in the World State society were conditioned to believe in the three word slogan They were conditioned in their sleep through hypnopaedia They cannot have a lasting peace community if everyone is forced to act a certain way In order to have a working community there has to be struggles and hardships that they can fix for themselves The community that they think they have is not really a community at all because they are all forced to act and think a certain way and the do not have the freedoms that they deserve Every person in the World State society is supposed to have hisher own identity but because of the control that they have in their society everyone acts and thinks the same The mockery made him feel like an outsider and feeling like an outsider he behaved like one which increased the prejudice against him and intensified the contempt and hostility aroused by his physical defects Which in turn increased his sense of being alien and alone A chronic fear of being slighted made him avoid his equals made him stand where his inferiors were concerned self-consciously
