The most pressing issue is sentence structure. Your sentences are long, complex, and use complicated terms. While this is not necessarily a problem in itself, many of these words are used incorrectly and the syntax is often disorganized and confusing. It is much more important to focus on clarity than complexity. Demonstrating an understanding of your subject and the terms you are using should take precedent over demonstrating a breadth of vocabulary.

There are some broad claims made about the history of gender roles and their modern implications. These claims should be backed up by outside sources. The fact that a group of characters experiences a set of outcomes does not mean this will apply to the real world.
