Eventually everyone must do it Whether it is done every day or every other week it absolutely must be done What is this necessity The culprit is laundry By then end of the week dirty clothes are piled in the laundry basket so high that as more clothes are thrown at it they begin to topple over and out onto the floor As the floor space around the basket it covered the dirty clothes slowly creep their way out of the closet creating an avalanche effect Soon the clothes are carelessly tossed about the room considering there is a slim chance of them fitting on the closet floor let alone in the basket Now it is time to face the fact that the laundry is long past due The first thing that you need to do is to somehow compact all of the dirty clothes into the laundry basket and make it to the laundry room without dropping a few socks along the way After reaching the laundry room dump the contents of the basket onto the floor Because the clothes are already soiled there is no need for concern about them touching the ground Begin separating the mass into three piles One pile should be the darks containing darker clothing and blue jeans The next pile is the whites with white garments only Even a small amount of red on a pair of white shorts can turn the entire load pink Colors is the last pile consisting of colored clothes including the white and red shorts Once every piece of clothing has a pile in which it belongs look through the heaps and pick out any garments that require special care such as those that must be dry cleaned only After everything is in a pile and the special care items are set aside it is time to move on and actually begin the washing process Place the entire darks mound
