A majority of citizens go through twelve years of legally required schooling but what comes after high school Several would answer this question and say college while having no second thought about the opportunities beyond not going to school for a higher education College is seen to be the next step in life by most and those who do not attend college are looked down upon Those who do not go to college seem to be unaccepted by the population due to their decision since college is seen as a standard to afford the cost of living College may be the right journey for numerous citizens though it is not essential to make a living A higher education can be seen as a setback to various people in society with the financial burden and the time commitment Though college allows more opportunities and the chance to grow as a person these things can be obtained without the college experience In between graduating high school and becoming successful with a career there are a lot of negative attitudes towards someones decision when they choose not to go to collegeCollege is very expensive and with the amount of financial aid or scholarships received it does not seem to limit the cost by much Going to college creates a financial burden for most students while putting people in debt with an excessive amount of expenses While in school one is expected to pay for tuition room and board fees a meal plan books and much more Not only is one expected to pay for school but every semester is also a new bill filled with these costs Many folks spend their early life saving money to further their education after high school After graduating college people then spend a long time paying back the loans they owe from school Usually students are unable to pay college off immediately and it leaves the recently graduated students working just to
