Envisage yourself watching your child sit in bed all day and constantly coughing sometimes struggling to breathe Its even worse knowing that its just the flu when just a short trip to the doctor is needed to cure it Also do you know what its like to watch your child sitting by the window and waiting for their Christmas presents that would never be delivered Did you know that millions of Americans are left on the streets partially as a result of too high tax rates People today are having trouble paying taxes following being laid off thus leading to poverty In addition some of the rich are currently using loopholes to pay less tax even less than their current taxes which are still too low This occurs while the poor are losing their homes and having their children taken away and some even end up living on the streets because of their overly high tax rates I believe that the government should change our countrys tax policy because it is unfair the tax policy should be taxed 10 more and the poor should be taxed 10 less I believe that the rich can afford to be taxed more and the poor cannot Also the rich use loopholes to get around paying their actual tax percentage and last the percentage of poverty is at an alarmingly high amount and their too high taxes are one of the reasons they are on the street To begin I would first like to say that the rich could afford to be taxed more than they currently are They can be taxed more but still be very wealthy In addition the poor need to be taxed less to decrease poverty levels Facts show that recent tax breaks have generally benefited wealthy households over the middle class Mann The filthy rich have the extra money going to nothing As of now the rich are just letting their
