The theory of evolution as opposed to the theory of creationism tries to explain why things are the way they are Do I think we came from Monkeys No but neither do I believe a lot of creationist arguments set forth regarding spontaneous generation However what I do believe is all this hoopla is more psychological rather than literal Meaning the material learned from studies about evolution and creationist teaches us eternal truths rather material fact about how things actually came about Neither side can conclusively prove either side is right Neither side saw the great flood or the big bang or other great events that have led us to this point which is the humans great flaw in either great arrogance or plain enthusiastic blind ignorance we attempt to over think things We are trying to find out where we came from like an orphan looking for his real parents We are both psychologically scarred by this and manifest this hole through scientific research creationist bashing or religious deductions Really either way its all a matter of fate and faith that we have come here The title of this piece is biodiversity Where do we go from here We are constantly changing and the only constant is change Leatham lecture Just look at the number of combinations that can arise from the four chemical nucleotide bases adenine A thymine T cytosine C and guanine G which gives us our diversity both as humans and both as species within a specific genus Thats why we all look different from one another even our own family According to nomenclature and logic cant we all categorized as our species and our immediate family our genus and beyond that we all group as humans Why do we have to be grouped as being a mammal Physically we look nothing like apes or any other warmed blooded animal that produces milk Its kind of insulting
