Erin's feedback:
"The introduction to your essay is very compelling, and it left me hopeful that you would compare the events and characters of the story to real-world examples of human weakness. However, the essay focuses heavily on events from the story and less on real-world examples, so I would recommend reworking the thesis to more accurately reflect the content of the essay. There are some stray, unfinished tangents in the essay and some body paragraphs focus more on summary than analysis; analyzing and interpreting these events would make your essay even stronger. Be mindful of introducing new information in the conclusion, as well; generally you should avoid this and instead focus on tying up loose ends in a satisfying way. While mostly well-written, there are occasional grammar and punctuation errors that keep this essay from scoring as highly as it would have otherwise. "
