Bridget's feedback:
"I'm impressed with the ethos of this paper, as it treats a topic that can be a little tricky to pin down rhetorically. Your use of clear sources, correctly formatted citations, and objective diction, combined with a sense of curiosity, contributes to this paper's strengths.
As you move into a next draft, spend some time with paragraphing and organization. Particularly in the first half, the shorter paragraphs create a somewhat fragmented organization. Some of the boundaries are also a little awkward -- for example, could the final sentence of the first paragraph work as the opening to the second paragraph, instead? Play around with the boundaries to ensure smooth movement and clear grouping of ideas.
At the lower-order level, make sure to integrate all quotations directly into you text (first paragraph); I also notice sentence fragments and some sentence variety issues toward the end of the paper (last two body paragraphs). A bit of revision will ensure consistent flow and dynamism across the entire paper."
