Naughtiness bad hygiene and carelessness are common traits in both toddlers and teens Most teens and toddlers tend to not care about something unless its fun or they can receive a prize From a quick glance toddlers and adolescents might look very different but the closer you look the more similarities you will find Both need independence from their parents but most toddlers often need more help with challenges Although there are many similarities there are differences as well One major difference of the two groups is physical appearance Young adults usually are much bigger stronger and smarter Toddlers however are small weak and less capable of independent mobility As you will see the young and the old are more alike than they seemAlthough both toddlers and teens need their parents how much they need them varies tremendously Teens on one hand want to be far separate from their parents On most occasions they get that separation With that separation comes much needed trust from their parents If their parents dont trust them the teenager might miss out on many events On the other hand little tykes need help from their parents They might not always want it but if they do they will make sure you know The munchkins do most things with their parents and timid toddlers can cling to their guardians Though there are quite a few differences between the two there are also similarities between their relationships with their parents Both will lie straight to their parents faces to avoid getting in trouble even if the evidence is obvious Both also want independence occasionally although toddlers wouldnt do well without parents Character development is where most people are surprised by all the similarities between the two It is obvious that adolescents are much bigger and smarter but it is not as commonly thought about how they are each learning similar things and make similar decisions They both can be rowdy and
