Jenn's feedback:
"This paper is off to a good start. It is very neatly formatted, which is essential for reading comprehension and the cohesiveness of the writing. I recommend that you remove extra spacing between paragraphs, though. You have also done an excellent job communicating the purpose of your paper by including a thesis statement. Relating the material in the body of the paper to the thesis statement shows that you stayed focused on your goal. You have also done a reasonably good job on the writing conventions of the paper. There are only a few punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure errors throughout the text that you can resolve through a round of proofreading. The two areas of the paper that need the most work are the organization and the content. The primary issue with the organization is the conclusion. The conclusion does not include a summary of topics discussed in the paper's body and does not relate the topics discussed in the body of the paper to the thesis statement. Also, the thesis statement is not as specific as it could be. In the thesis statement, you should not only present the goal of the paper but also how you are going to go about achieving that goal. Throughout the body of your paper, the main question that came to mind was, "How do you know this?" You have a lot of stuff presented as facts in your paper. You should cite anything presented as fact to make your essay appear more scholarly. If you cannot support what you have said with previous research, it should probably be left out of the paper. Creating in-text citations will then lead to the creation of a reference page."
