Every once in a while something happens that catches the eye of even the most unassuming person While this feat might not be great at first over a period of time people begin to realize how amazing this accomplishment was Take the example of Willy Jackson Willy was an excellent football player at his high school in Tom Rivers New Jersey He led his team to the state championship two years in a row Willy had received a full scholarship to the college of Michigan to play football Everything was going great for Willy Suddenly out of nowhere Willies life to a drastic change One night Willy was coming home from a graduation party and was almost home when he was struck head on by a drunk driver who had swerved in to Willies lane As soon as Willy was hit he was knocked out but that was only the beginning of his problems Willies right leg was pinned against the dash of the car so bad that he had very little leg remaining The doctors were forced to amputate from the knee down Willy was devastated How am I ever going to play football with one leg He would often ponder God does everything for a reason was the only response that Willies mother Jennifer could give him She knew how hard Willy had worked to where he was She also knew that if Willy couldnt play football he would probably lose his scholarship You see money was tight in the Jackson family Willies dad had died when Willy was only 7 of cancer and Mrs Jackson worked 12 hours at the hospital as a nurse just to support her 3 children Mrs Jackson knew that there would be no possible way that she could send Willy to Michigan without the financial support that she would lose Then a miracle came to the Jackson family in the form of Doctor
