My name is Alleyan this is my story When I was little my gran told me Ihad the hair of a princess and that one day she may tell me the storyMy hair is brown and long quiet normal by most standards People oftensay I am pretty though like most young girls you just think they arebeing polite After that nights conversation with my Gran Myimagination took over as any young girls would I spent many dayssitting under the tree going through the rems of possibilities Thisstory had grown in enormous proportions On the night of my thirteenbirthdays it was time for some answers Up until then my life ticked bylike the hands on the old clock Sometimes slowing down and sometimesspeeding up I lived in a little seaside town with my Mum step dad andlittle sister Charlie We went to a smallish town school it had an old building which we hadassembly in and new rooms where most of our classes were The deskswere old The smell of ink and old wood filled the rooms We oftenfound ourselves would read what people and carved letting ourimaginations take over I stayed at school and did well the whole timeplanning when I would someday have enough money and bravery to tell myparents that my gran had told me She had made me promise to wait untilmy eighteenth birthday Sadly my beloved gran past before my nextbirthday The days were long and dark it felt like she had taken the sunwith her Nothing would be the same again When I told mum I was going to London she was surprised I know everyparent dreads the moment the tiny thread that hold their child closewill be broken I planned to stay with my cousins for a while More formy parents than me On the day of my eighteen I had everything arrangedall that was left was to say my goodbyes My room looked
