Angela's feedback:
"You do a good job of discussing Annie’s rebellion against her mother and colonial Antigua’s gender norms, but your analysis of the marbles is confusing. It would be a good idea to add more explanation of the narrative to help the reader understand when Annie starts playing with marbles (and whether these are her own marbles), when her mother gives her a set of white marbles, and what Annie does with the white marbles. Although you handle quoted material well overall, there’s one quote that should be rechecked because there’s a stray opening quotation mark. Keep in mind that when you have a quote within a quote, single quotation marks should be nested within double quotation marks. In American English, commas and periods should come before a closing quotation mark. After introducing the “Red Girl” in quotation marks, subsequent references to the Red Girl can be made without quotes. For MLA style, paragraphs should be aligned to the left instead of justified. Moreover, your Works Cited heading is off center, likely because of accidental indentation."
