Angela's feedback:
"You do a great job of discussing the theme of good and evil in the novel, and you make solid use of quotes to support your analysis. However, the overall formatting of your response needs work. A direct quote should not be italicized since the quotation marks already separate it visually from the rest of the text, but standard practice in academic writing is to include citations for direct quotes. On a related note, main body text shouldn’t be italicized in large blocks either; italics in main body text should be used sparingly for emphasis when needed. Meanwhile, the title of a book should be italicized instead of placed in quotation marks. You have a tendency to use a semicolon where a colon would be appropriate, and review is needed to ensure that every sentence ends with a piece of punctuation."
