Tuesdays with Morrie reaction Tuesdays with Morrie is a narration told by a man named Mitch His story is about his relationship with his former college professor Morrie When he was in college he became friends with his professor and looked to him as a father figure Morrie gave Mitch lessons and advice on life But after college Mitch lost touch with Morrie and became a sports columnist and began to stray from the life lessons that Morrie taught him Mitch happened to be flipping through the channels one day when he heard his old professors name mentioned by Ted Koppel on the television He found out that Morrie had been diagnosed with Lou Gerihgs disease and once again became reunited with his old professor Mitch started going to Morries house for visits every Tuesday which became sort of classes for both Mitch and Morrie From his classes with Morrie Mitch began to examine his own life and the choices he had made Morrie delt with his illness in such a positive attitude and devoted his Tuesdays to Mitch on lessons on how to live life Morrie taught Mitch that the most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love and to let it come in Their lessons covered death fear aging greed marriage family society forgiveness and a meaningful life They talked about death and how you have to be prepared for it You must ask yourself these questions Is today the day Am I ready Am I doing all I need to do Am I being the person I want to be As Mitch visited with Morrie on Tuesdays Morrie became weaker and more dependent until he finally returned to being like a child that must be taken care of Eventually he was in a coma stopped breathing and died I have no real experience with death but the lessons from
