In the novel Jane learns many things She starts learning when she was a child As we know that Jane was having lots of problems at Gateshead and Lowood When Jane was at Gateshead she was treated as a servant Mrs Reed was very cruel to Jane She used to blame Jane for everything wrong happened there even if John Reed or his sisters did anything wrong Jane was blamed for it Jane was very bold and confident Jane was used to everything happened and considered as a routine She was very tough She ignores the reeds children She learns many lessons at Gateshead but the most important was that she got used to people like the Reeds family She could control her temper When Jane was thrown to the red room and she fainted The Reeds family ignored Jane The servants used to take care of her and their children were not allowed to go near Jane And they were slightly better than before When she left Gateshead she had a long journey to Lowood and she was used to these long journeys When Jane went to Lowood she got tougher due to following Mr Brocklehurst rules On the first day of school Jane was considered as a liar in front of the whole school by Mr Brocklehurst She learnt that there are so cruel and selfish people like Mr Brocklehurst so kind and caring people like Helen Miss Temple She learns about how people follow their religions Mr Brocklehurst takes advantage of religion and Helen uses it in a positive way She learns how to live alone when Helen dies She believes in God and has faith She changes a lot from the first chapter until the last of the volume At the beginning she is a child She was dependent She had to do as Mrs Reed told her to do When she goes to Lowood she gets older and
