Bridget's feedback:
"You've gathered a good roundup of examples from the text. The next step is to push your thesis a little further so you can transform the examples into supporting evidence. The broadest focus is dreams, and some specific elements you discuss include realistic/unrealistic dreams (are each of the dreams you describe unrealistic?), the Great Depression (does the setting determine which dreams are realistic?), interconnectedness (how when one thing goes wrong, it impacts all the others--is this related to the Great Depression?), hope (is this different from dreaming?)... As you can see, I've included brainstorming questions in the parentheses, but you can also explore other avenues for complicating your thesis beyond the main idea of dreams.
In terms of lower-order concerns, make sure to properly format the title of the book and your quotations (para. 1). More transitional and signposting phrasing will help create more flow and dynamism, but I recommend attending to the argumentation (discussed above) first."
