Bridget's feedback:
"You narrate Abelard's life with verve, and your thesis on the contradictions of individuality is explored with purpose and focus across the essay. Your style and use of sentence variety and flow bring life to the writing, though I do spot a few moments for review to ensure the diction doesn't get carried away ("affair of unparalleled proportion"). Similarly, zooming in and focusing at the diction and syntax level, including proofreading, will help polish up the writing: watch out for verb tense shifts between present and past, typos (e.g., "with standing" should be one word, and how the first word "In" renders the first sentence meaningless). Make sure, too, that all quotes are integrated fully and smoothly into the text, including quotations that are otherwise complete sentences."
