A number of people believe that the Death Penalty isnt necessary todeliver justice to the victims and their families but on the other hand there aresome who believe capitol punishment is primary to our justice system In theUnited States capitol punishment is a controversy in of itself On both sidesthere are people who pursue to validify there points like boxers proving theirstrength over their opponent They all have a point to be heard The issues at hand are the cost of the Death Penalty process moral qualms and the true deterrent factor of the Death Penalty The Death Penaltyis a subject that has been confronted intensely for the past twenty years andthe fact is that both sides must be considered Compared to other aspects ofthe Death Penalty victims rights have taken a backseat to the bickering of theThe Death Penalty is a deterrent against future crimes occurring a lotof people believe that a murderer does not take into consideration the DeathPenalty but in the back of their mind the thought of getting caught does existor all murders would turn themselves in after their first offense It doesnthappen that way a murder knows how to prevent or hasten their capture bylaw enforcement Escape is the first consideration of most murders they lookfor a victim and weigh the chance of getting caught and they are alwayspresumably inconspicuous to their victims and the surroundings There are different approaches to different degrees of murder forinstance a person who has a planned out premeditated intention to kill aredealt a harsher penalty than those who cause accidental death For examplethe person who hunts down a little girl and rapes and murders her or seeks tomurder a specific group such as prostitutes for the pure pleasure of the killwill be sentenced more harshly than the person who accidentally hits anothercar on a snowy road killing the driverThere was a recent murder case in Washington state where Robert LYates a convicted serial killer
