Jenn's feedback:
"Your paper is off to an excellent start. Your paper is formatted perfectly, which is essential for reading comprehension and writing cohesion. You have also done a fantastic job with the content of your essay. You provide many supporting examples from the text for every point you have made. I recommend you try not to use signal phrases or transitions (e.g., proclaims, says out loud) when you add quotes. The organization of your paper is the component that could use the most work. You have a clear introduction and conclusion, so you are off to a great start. The opening even has a thesis statement, which can challenge some people. Having said this, I suggest you make the thesis statement more detailed. For example, you could list the methods of control in the thesis statement and then make sure that the body of the paper presents the methods in the same order. Doing this will clarify the purpose of your essay and show the reader you remained focused on that purpose throughout your writing. Last are writing conventions. Several grammar and sentence structure errors need to be resolved for the sake of the paper's cohesiveness and reading comprehension. Ensure that you or someone else read through your document to resolve these issues."
